My DVD is connected via coax...you have analog or optical options as well and can connect analog and digital simultaneously on all source.

SAT audio via optical.

TV tuner not connected. I pre out from 235 analog to T V configured and designed for center speaker.

you can component video into the 235 from 2 sources, and one componennt vid out by standard component vid connects (rca jacks - u can usw rg6 minimum coax w/ rca plugs).
