I for one prefer a phantom center. I find that front pans are more even, dialog is locked on the screen, and the entire system sounds less "mechanical". You do need surround speakers, however.

Is there a way for me to do phantom center with the Panny?
Most recievers AV and pre/pros have this capability. Check your manual to be sure.
