Oppo DV971H plays all formats except sacd and has the best video I've seen.$199 got top reviews on DVD benchmark also the pioneer 563,578, or 588 arount $129 universal. good video good audio I have the Oppo,
Toshiba DVD 4700, and the pioneer 563 universal
