Currently they are quoting $349 for a box and they will do the install and dish upgrade included with that. They are also saying 10.99 extra a month- no bigee. Here are my questions:
Local channels available via the dish? I cannot get local channels via an antenna where I live at all. (valley between two steep mountains)
Does their box have HDMI out? I would prefer that to compoment. Any thoughts from someone who has Direct TV HD are welcomed. I cannot get Dish Network here- too low in the sky for all the trees where I live.

I also called Direct TV and right now the cost of having a three LNB dish installed and a receiver the cost is $250. I have a HDTV on order so I am trying to figure out what receiver will do the job the best or should I just take the receiver Direct TV offers to me.
