I looked at TV's for more than a year. Wanted a 42" Plasma/LCD/Rear Projection, but went with the SONY 34". It is the picture quality, pure and simple. All of the other TV's had some "problem" or artifact that I would not be able to live with over the long term. So, gave up some picture size, but traded quantity for quality!
