At that length I would suggest you invest in high quality cables. Check out RAM Electronics: they are highly recommended at AVS Forum and I have never read a complaint from anyone who has purchased from them. They sell "standard" cables, but it's their high quality ones that get the praise.Only HDMI-HDMI will give you the benefit of the equalizer in the HDMI receiving chip. If one end is DVI, it's basically the same as a DVI-DVI connection.
Follow Ups:
of fact tomorrow i have to order their 30m hdmi cable with the amp and 2x1 switch. :)
I need a temporary connection to my plasma, so I just ordered a 3ft VGA-RCA cable from RAM.
