Is there mechanical noise from the transport mechanism?How is the 2 channel digital out?

Just purchased a DV-79AVi. Transport is excellent! Quiet, quick, feels much sturdier than my old Yamaha S1500. I am only using the Toslink on the digital out to a Benchmark DAC1. No problems.
