Video Asylum

I am considering purchasing a Sony KDS R70XBR2. Review in Perfect Vision of R60XBR2 stated had trouble with 3:2 pull down, reds had a touch of orange,and greens oversatured. My understanding of 3:2 pulldown is that the DVD player can also do this so not a big deal if the TV cannot handle. Is this correct? I mainly watch movies DVDs so 3:2 pulldown is an issue. Seems like a nice set but expensive compared to the R60XBR2 or Toshiba 72HM196.
