For the record, both HD formats have been cracked, at least temperarily, for quite a while now. As I understand it, the Diggs.com situation is basically people posted the keys there, so diggs had to take down those threads (to avoid a lawsuit), so the hackers found a way to post the codes inside messages (Help, I got error message 1234567), so Diggs.com shut down for a bit.
There are some BD fanboys blowing this out of proportion, but to call this a meltdown is a bit of a stretch.

Blue Ray has a secondary encoding scheme that has yet to be cracked.
That's true. BD+ hasn't been cracked yet, because it hasn't been implimented yet. This is probably why Fox yanked most of its titles a while back. People at AVS are taking bets as to how long it will take before some hacker cracks BD+.
