Sorry I was quoting Canadian prices. The Canadian dollar is about $.60 USD. But I think we all agree that you need something better than what comes in the box with most DVD players. That wire is poor at best and picks up lots of interference in my experience. I also agree with John that the audio interconnects are the place to spend your money.

Thats also misjudged, because of the frequencies involved video signals are more likely to be degraded by poor quality cable than audio. Talk to a broadcast engineer about the problems with signal loss over long cable runs.Roland
Yes there are a lot problems with transmission. I have noticed improvements with better quality cables over the really cheap stuff, but like John, I find that above a certain price the differences are not visible on a standard NTCS tv.
