when I already have A/V receiver (Marantz SR-19)? Should the basic model be enough?Your inputs very much appreciated. Thanks.

Go with a basic model without DD or DTS decoders built in.
The basic answer is no.It gets more complicated than this though. Typically as you ascend up the line of a company's DVD Players, you end up getting more and more features thrown into the DVD Player. Entry level machines will only have digital output capability for DD/DTS bitstreams.
Mid-level machines will sometimes toss in a DD decoder. Some mid level machines also toss in the DTS decoder.
In terms of sonic performance, I definitely prefer the results using my pre/pros DD/DTS decoders.
Hope this helped rather than added to your confusion.
