Hi All,I am looking for a multi-channel amp for both music and HT. I am however under tight fiscal constrain and hoping to only spend about $800 for it. Therefore I am open to also buying used if I can fine a good one at a decent price. One of the amp I am currently considering is the Sony TA-N9000ES. Does anyone have an opinion on it? I like the flexibility it offers and seems to be a good bang for the bucks buy. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Follow Ups:
You could take a look at Harman/Kardon 2.1 They've been discontinued but great deals can still be found on net. I think onecall.com still has a couple of units left at around 650 or 700 (I bought mine as special pckg w/ 2.0 preamp for $1350 w/ shipping several months back). It's a steal at that price. It's a 120w x 5 and sounds very clean without a any added "coloration". Highly recommended and right within your price range.check out reviews at audioreview.com
I recently did some head to head testing on amp ranging from @ $700-$5000 and came down to two amps.My personal choice was the Sunfire Cinema Grand signature series.
Running a close second (and more in the price range you are looking for) was the Outlaw.
These amps had plenty of power, and they are very transparent.
With a price difference of $2500 you really are getting the most bang for your buck from the Outlaw. (Priced @ $1000)
Hope this Helps
