This is my first post here, having posted numerous times on the various AA's.
I am considering an HT syatem and there seem to be so many options. I could pair Gallo speakers with an Hsu VTF-2 sub, the Energy Take 5 or possibly the EdgeAudio 502D and SW-12 which got a great review on Soundstage.
I heard and liked the Gallos but I wasn't happy with the sub and think the VTF-2 would be better if it will pair up ok with the Gallo's.
I am open to any thoughts offered since I have little knowledge of HT.
Also a good low cost receiver wih an MSRP around $400!

I have an Outlaw 1050 Receiver that gives incredible performance for the cost...which I believe is $500 now. Outlaw has OUTSTANDING customer service as well.
Also look into Atlantic Technology and NHT speaker systems as well.
I shopped aggressively for four months before deciding. Have fun and good luck.
