Hi. I just yesterday bought a NAD T550 dvd player (just went on clearance yesterday at Saturday Audio Exchange in Chicago from their normal price of ~$600!!!...and they do have a website...) to replace the Toshiba 2109 I've had for about 2 years. I have since learned that there is a hack to allow it to play DVDs from other regions. The hack seemed to work in terms of the correct screen prompts. However, since say England uses the PAL video system, what exactly would I need to be able to enjoy say....and don't laugh the damn show is extremely good and well written....the first season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which has been released in England, but not here in the US. Do I need to find a PAL TV....or buy a digital TV or what? Thanks in advance,
George

Yes you would need a TV that accepts Pal signals. The British are into these hacks, so you might try some of those magazines.
