The new Toshiba models will be premiered this week end (9/8/01) at a dealer's trade show. The model changes were just posted on Wednesday.
I don't think anyone has had time to review the new models. I hope they continue the TheaterWide reputation for quality & dollar value.
I've asked my salesman to order a 42H81 when he returns from the show if his impression of the new units is positive.
The current wait in my area is three weeks. This model replaces the VERY popular 40X81.
I'll let you know what my dealer says.
