I'm trying to decide if it's worth goin through the trouble to audition one. If people who have heard it say it is worhtwhile, then I'll go hearfor myself. But if everyone says its crap, or notin thesame league as those other units I listed, then I won't waste my time.

Chrisc is full of crap..lol..it just shipped last week and i received one of the first units off the ups truck. Its head & shoulders better than the Avm2 which sounded better than the theater GrandII & ref30 B&K in two ch.A local B&K dealer tried to tell me different until I showed up at his shop with my avm2 before I sold it, he ended up saying the avm2 had too many buttons..lol Easily sounds as good as the SP1 Bryston @ 5800..lol and kills it feature wise. Bass management for Dvda as well. The casa II at 8k doesn’t even have 6ch analog passthrough (what a joke). You wont find another HT/pro even remotely close in sound quality & features at 3200..Got mine for 2900 after tax :)keep in mind sonic frontier have been making two channel audiophile components for years while B&K & Carver etc have always been on the lower tier. No surprise Sonic Frontier came out with an extremely musical HT pre. I can finally sell my Coda Fet2b.
