I know someone whose girl got an oritron from her parents...anyway, he was using it this summer. the damn thing wouldn't highlight selections on any of the menus (you had to guess which selection was highlighted!). it did all sorts of crazy things. he said that one time he was watching a movie, and come closed captioning came up that was from another movie he watched a week before! what a hunk of crap!!!

stay away from oritron. Agree with the guy who recommended pioneer. JVC's are also good. I love my pioneer though. it is the 5-disc for around 3 bills. great player, worth every penny.
