I hope I didn't just make a wild blunder here, but I bought a 5 DVD/CD player online (ebay) from someone who assured me it would connect to an early 80's model Sony receiver.Well, the CD player part works fine. However, there are connections to my receiver (coaxial video output) and an S-Video line to the TV which aren't present on my receiver or TV.
Am I hooped? What is the best way to remedy this situation? (I contacted the seller who won't accept it back). I bought a "cheapy" model DVD/CD player because my existing system isn't worth hooking something great up to.
I have a feeling I blew it, but before I sell this 5 CD/DVD player, I want your opinions on it...(other than the fact that I should shake my head a few times before my next online purchase!)
thanks!
