I have a Sony KV-36XBR450. It is High Def in a 4x3 format. It has 4x line doubling. I had a very good High Def projection TV but didn't like the picture quality. The Sony is excellent. Better than any projection set I have seen (in my opinion). Sony also has a 34" wide screen.

In my opinion, unless you need (or really want) a large picture, the Sony is well worth the money. If I had waited a month I would have bought the 40" Sony.

I love the TV and would not exchange it for ANY TV except the new Sony 40".
