if you want component video switching, take a look at the yamaha RX-V620. It does not have pro logic 2 though. I just ordered the Onkyo tx-DS595, its coming today so I haven't tried it out yet, but it is a highly recommended budget 5.1 receiver. It doesn't have component switching, which I don't need, but it does have pro logic 2, which I really want. I think Yamaha and Onkyo are highly recommended and are great buys. The onkyo does not have outputs for an external amp either, while I believe that most of the yamaha models do. Most of the lower priced receivers do not have high wattage, so you may want to step up if you like it loud and have inefficient speakers.here's the review for the Onkyo, you can find the yamaha one on there as well, but the onkyo review is kind of hidden.
