I have a A/V receiver with dolby digital and DTS decoders. Do i need a special Satellite receiver so i can hear dolby digital pay-per-view movies in Directv ?. Or can i use the standar left/right outputs and my A/V receiver will decode the signal for me ?.
In other words is there a receiver such as Dolby compatible (but without decoders) ...

You do. You'd need a set top receiver with Dolby Digital output in the form of toslink or coaxial out. Hoped this helps.
