  I own the Intrepid. Before purchase I extensively auditioned both amps and found no difference in sound quality when driven at moderate levels.

    I am thinking of pairing this amp with BW's Matrix line of speakers for home theater. The BW's can be very current hungry although they have a reasonably high senstivity.
