The left channel hisses during more refined recordings ( Jan Garbarek ) with the volume above -10. I tried everything : exchanging cables, cd players, cinch cables and the problem seems to be analog inputs !!! Even tried to hook up the cd to another input. Same result. With CD player hooked with optical cable, everything works fine !!! And, it's not the speakers, because it does the same thing with the headphones out. I still don't know what to do... Should I return it ???? Tin

I don't mean to slam Denon.Three months ago I bought a AVR 5800 which is fairly expensive. It also a had problem. I took it back and the new one is perfect.
I would definitely take it back.
I would guess there is something wrong, take it back.
