Video Asylum

One of my favorite dealer is selling this at $1100.
It does DD/DTS. Fair condition. Remote and manual still there.
Would it be a fair price ? They claim it's retail was $3500.
However, this is back then (?). The model has been discontined, and
there is no way I can find out its retail value, especially when processor price drops very rapidly, compared to other components. One thing for sure was it seemed to be a very good build quality. Seemed much better than one of those B&K unit. Any input?
