I have an old Denon Dolby Pro Logic unit, and I love it. Their new boxes are fairly well-thought of, and would likely excell in a HT application.

You might also want to check out Outlaw. They sell only on the web, but as a result you get a lot more box for the buck. I think they're at outlaw.com? Also very well thought of.
