With any receiver or DD/DTS processor, one way to tie it and the CJ together is to route the receiver/processor L&R analog pre-outs to the CJ.This means you would need to unplug a receiver's jumper plugs for L&R mains (L&R pre-out --> L&R amp-in) if it has them.

I assume you are talking about running the preamp out left & right fronts of the receiver to the processor in (loop) on the CJ?
My stereo preamp doesn't have an HT loop, so I use a normal analog input (AUX) on the preamp and set the volume control to 12 o'clock.
I use a 5 channel amp for both 2-channel and HT.If the CJ offers an HT bypass, that's what I would use, like;
receiver L&R preout --> CJ L&R HT bypass input
CJ L&R HT bypass output --> reciver amp input (or external amp)bstan
