Belden 1695a is, IMHO, the absolute best coax cable for use with TV. I recently upgraded the cable boxes in my house (including the home theater) to digital ones, and noticed I was getting QUITE a lot of "digital haze" and the colors were not as vibrant as I had remembered on a friend's TV (and my TV is no slouch). So I changed the entire run from where the cable meets the house to 1695a. HUGE IMPROVEMENT!!! Major. The digital audio sounds MUCH better now, and the picture quality is as good as what a cheap DVD player has to offer. It's pricey, though. About a buck a foot. Cheers!

Belden 1695a is overkill for this use. The Belden 1694a is a more suitable cable. Cheaper and will perform as well if not better. Especially at longer runs. Save the money this is a case where its better spent.Brian:
Before reaching the conclusion the the Belden 1695a is the absolute best coax cable. Did you try any others?I have compared the 1695a cable with 1694, Canare and a few I'd prefer not to mention. The 1694a gave up nothing to the 1695a. In fact I preferred the 1694a to it. I didnt find the 1695a performed better for component either.
