Ken. I am not on this site every day so it takes a while for me to respond. Anyway, I am going down the home theatre route. In my case I am adding a Acurus 3 channel amp, a Technics 500 processor and extra speakers to my 2 channel system. Hopefully it will not be a mistake. That said, my friend basically did the same thing and it did sound quite good. It also allows the family to be part of the experience in his case.

I am wondering what you had before and why you got rid of it. Take care Ken and all the best for the holidays.
