Just got a KV27F17. There is no mention, in the owner's manual, as to how the 16:9 video compression works. Does is work automatically with S-video? Does it work automatically with component video? Thanks.

Go to Menu then over (right) 5 items then down 5 items to 16:9 then select it and hit OK, A real pain in the As* but you have to do it every time you want Squeeze mode. Also be sure your DVD is set to 16:9 TV mode.
