If I understand correctly, you have the SH500 setup like this:
Main L&R set to Large, Center=NO, Surrounds=Small, and Sub=NO.

This is what gets sent to the Main L&R outputs of the SH500 with those settings:
1) Full range 20Hz-20kHz L&R output
2) Full range 20Hz-20kHz Center output
3) Partial range 20Hz-100Hz L&R Surround output
4) All of the LFE (20Hz-120Hz)

If you take the L&R output of the SH500 and connect it to the TACT, does the TACT let you distribute it's L&R output to the L&R amps and the powered subs like a crossover with a selectable crossover frequency?

If yes, then you are not missing any bass.
