Video Asylum

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me...I recently purchased a Samsung 27"HDTV..however, after I brought it home, I saw that on the right side the display was not aligned 100%. So I brought it back and for some extra money I purchased the Panasonic CT 32HX40. First of all, once again the picture isn't perfect. Anyway, I bought the monster component cable for the xbox, and it works perfectly..then today I bought the monster component cable for ps2 and it doesn't work at all...Even when i plug those into where I had the xbox plugged. It's not my ps2 because if I move it to a different tv, it works fine. Please help - should I return my tv? Am I going to run into this problem again?? Thanks
