Trying to make up my mind between, Anthem AVM20, B&K ref 30, Classe ssp30 and Myryad 500..Have heard the Anthem and I demo the classe this week ( also demo'd Marantz 9000 and rotel 985 neither was spectacular)
but I am unable to hear the B&K or the myryad. my main focus is 2 channel sound has anyone heard either one of these..what I am looking for is a smooth open top end

All of these will be excellent choices.
If you can squeak it in your budget, also add the Integra Research RDC-7, and Cary Audio announced their P-7, which is their 7.1 preamp/processor.
