In Reply to: X-Box, or PS2... Can they support 480p or 1020i via component posted by Elizabeth on January 23, 2002 at 05:43:55:
I'm also in the market for a new video game system. Trouble is, my TV has only one set of component video inputs (CVIs). I don't want to be manually disconnecting and reconnecting my DVD player everytime I want to play games. Is there a such thing as a splitter for component video cables? I have only seen such a thing for S-video and composite video, but never for component...
Any ideas? Also, I don't want to use the game machine as the primary DVD player, so tossing my current DVP is no option.
Thanx!

I just bought a switcher for that reason, I was looking at one from Bettercables.com it was 300 bucks, It has two component inputs and one component output, but I found a JVC video switcher on ebay that supports HD it has 4 component inputs 2 S-video inputs and 1 component output and 1 S-video output. I got it for 130.00 bucks. You should try and do a search on ebay for it.
