I've no idea what could be causing this but surely Samsung could help. Don't they have an internet site where you can contact them or at least you should be able to get assistance from the dealer?Post us the solution to the problem when you have tracked it down.

Solved it... I have a Scientific Atlanta digital cable unit hooked up to S-Video 1 (I had the DVD originally on S-Video 2 before I changed to Component). I accidently turned off the cable unit when I wastrouble shooting the DVD component video problem and voila... picture cleans up... turned it back on and the lines came back. Therefore I am either getting interference from the unit itself or I am getting bleed from S-Video 1 to Component... either way It stopped... yay!
