I am trying to be cost effective here. Right now I am using a 27" Trinitron and a Onkyo stereo receiver which I plan to upgrade once I have a little more cash. And I have 2 mission 717's which I never plan on upgrading and then I have deicded on a wharfdale sub. BUt I am still having a few problems. I want my missions to have bas but be at ear level. When I lift them off the floor the bass goes bye bye. So right now I have them on the floor which is ok for now because they still fill the entire room with sound. Is their anyway to lift them off the ground and keep the bass? Someone else told me concrete blocks but I am afraid that will not work. Does anyone have any suggestions for elevating these? Another Idea I had I got when I saw some klipsch speakers to face them up by lifting the front and facing them up to ear level. That way I could still keep some bass until I get my subwoofer. Anyway any help would be greatly appreaciated.
Follow Ups:
Try locating the Mission speakers in the corners of the room.
