I strongly segguest the Toshibas, they're great to watch, and they can be relatively easy tweeked to perform like the big buck guys.
Spend a couple of thou$$ on the RPTV, call one of the ISF guys and have them do thier thing for about $400 or so, you'll get the performance of a 12,000 Runco (or very close...)
