Well, first you work it out for 16" x 9" which gives a diagonal of 18.357". Then you use proportion so the height will be 9" x (30/18.357) or 14.7" and the width will be 16" x (30/18.357) or 26.15".

I was persuing a much more complex rout. Yes I can see proportionaly applies here.Got it permanently etched in my brain.
