Artists biographies, this one is for you. I like them, so I am very well served by this one. The all American Artist Pollock is a joy to look at, a painfully egocentric ( but are not artists this way? ) who had the bad habit to be a alcohol addict.
In the main role is Ed Harris shinning and as a director...too. His jewish wife is brillantly played by Marcia Gay Harden ( I have just see that she got the price for best supporting actress 2000 and rightly so! )
In real life his wife was the motor of his life, and he was right to be self doubting...as I doubt myself at his capability as an artist....but no at his failure as a human.
A film that has the right to bear the name " film ".
I always liked Ed Harris. Now a lttle more.
