Other great (and I mean great!) movies that are undeservedly forgotten: "The Hidden", "The Vanishing" (the original), "Diva". Billy Bob has never been better than in "One False Move". Cynda is a better actress than Halle B, IMHO. She should have gotten at least a nomination for OFM. The African-American actor who played the knife fetishist also deserves a career. The detective, also A-A, similarly was excellent. But,hey, Hollywood is a racist place. Look at John Lone. "The Last Emperor" won lots of Oscars, but the main actor was ignored. Morgan Freeman and Samuel Jackson have been stiffed for years, for many roles. How ironic Denzel won it for a crummy movie, playing a character that Morgan F or Sam J have years ago! Of course, Denzel deserved it for several roles over the years. I'll ramble a little more: does anyone deserve it less than the Aussie gym rats (Crowe and Gibson)? Oh well. Such is fame...Lotsa great musicians/groups from the sixties, seventies toil(ed) in obscurity.
