I hope "What Happened Was..." comes through for you, as it is possible it will lose too much in translation - Tom's acting is very good and very subtle there, and you must pay attention to how he pronounces words, not just their meaning, that becomes big part of the movie, so even as you are reading the subs, try to pay attention to his face and the inflections of his voice - as he plays a very frigile character, and that fragile nature is hard to convey, of course. In several spots HOW it was pronouced was more important than WHAT. He is quite good there.
