Here is a matinee movie like they used to make when I was a boy (occasionally, anyway) -- full of real kids and real adults, and of love and play and loss.
Johnny Depp -- Lord what an actor!
With the whole thing set in England, the mostly-American crew on stage conduct themselves admirably in creating both an authentic period piece and a true drama.
Go. By all means, go.
