I didn't love FN quite as much as you...but is there a more graceful, beautiful American actor than Johnny Depp?I'm not ashamed to say I needed to dry my eyes at the end.
Of the many lovely moments in this film, there is one small piece that struck me as a stunning piece of visual storytelling: (small spoiler below)
I'm referring to the long, fixed shot where Mr. & Mrs. Barrie retire to their separate bedrooms - she opens her door and enters a black, lightless room. He opens his door, and vanishes into a lush, shimmeringly bright green forest.
