What I dislike in any action movie is being subjected to a cluster of precious coincidences that substitute for clever plotting (often covered up by tossing in a few extra explosions, chases, harrowing escapes, etc.). Whenever I see this scenario rearing it's ugly head it's usually the result of a weak script in desperate need of another rewrite. Somehow, this time, the Producers had the goods and managed to avoid the eye-roller of that plot-unraveling trap (unlike certain elements of the 3rd Die Hard film "Coincidence With a Vengeance" -grin).
For me, suspending disbelief in a high-octane action flick isn't just a matter of accepting the implausible stunt or effect as real, because that's part of the fun. Rather, the glue that holds this kind of film together in spite of it's unbelievability is watching the heroes you want to succeed solve problems logically, while under pressure, without having to depend upon a series of lucky breaks along the way.
