Another good film. The lead actor also plays extremely well in Tarkovsky's Solaris.
Next stop... Crime and Punishment? Smoktunovsky is wonderful in it.
Also, from classics... The Karamazov Brothers, War and Peace. Plus - wealth of work based on Chekhov's writing.
