No, this will not look any better than the originals--garbage in, garbage out. Generally, if you copy something, it will always look worse than the original. If you copy a VHS tape to DVD, all you will be doing is encoding the low resolution, fuzzy, noisy VHS signal into digital, plus adding some MPEG-2 encoding artifacts. It may be more convenient to use, but your quality is going to be limited by the resolution of your source.Todd
