Yeah I prefer S/PDIF coax...

especially since my DAC does not have toslink inputs! Personally I'm torn between the Panasonic DVD-RP56/RP62/RP82 and Denon DVD-1600. Not sure if I want to get DVD-A support, or not. The sound is probably improved in the Denon. But I only watch 1-2 DVDs/week. So how important should a DVD player be to me? $500? $250? $150? I have a decent TV, Toshiba 36AF61. Gorgeous pciture. But it's isn't high-def.

Also looks of the RP82, in two-tone silver/black - is just play ugly, 1980's style (or something). RP62 is not much better. The Deono looks decent, but is at least twice as much as the other players I've listed. Decisions, decisions...
