Thanks a ton, SamM, much appreciated.I don't know a thing about ohm ratings, but someone recommended I look into it. So I just checked my speakers, the front 2 and center channel are labeled as 8 ohm, but the rear two are 16 ohm. My receiver is labeled as an 8 ohm system if I recall correctly. Should I disconnect the rear speakers and buy new ones? Or can I still use them w/o worrying about messing them or the system up.
What about my subwoofer (salvaged from my computer)? Should I be concerned about its ohm rating as well?
