Hi Larry;

If you're a sports nut, like myself, you might be better off with Direct. I originally ordered Dish and immediately found that they black out the Fox Sports Channel - about 20% of the time for Baseball (Giants, A's) and ENTIRELY for NBA (Warriors). Naturally, I cancelled after 1 day! Direct TV has an exclusive deal with the NBA, so you won't get your local pro basketball with Dish if its on a Fox Sports Net channel.

There are other considerations, but that was enough for me!!
