Wiring dilemma:

I had my system wired in such a way that I came out of my sat. receiver and into my VCR, out of my VCR and into my television. Worked fine, but that configuration would not allow me to tape movies and concerts from my DVD or Laser Disc player.

So I installed an audio/video selector switch box between my sat. receiver and VCR. In other words: I come out of my sat. receiver and into one of the selector boxinputs, then out of my selector box and into my VCR, finally, out of my VCR and into my television. With me so far? Of course, I also come out of my DVD and Laser Disc player and into the inputs on the selector box.

Now, when I tape a movie or concert from either DVD or Laser, I get the video just fine, but NO sound. I've checked and rechecked my audio connections three times. What am I doing wrong? TYIA
