There's a Samsung DVD player that upconverts to 720p or 1080i via the DVI-I interface for near HDTV like quality for standard DVDs. It LISTS for $299.I see that the Denon DVD-5900 also has this feature. As quoted from the Denon (USA) website: "(1) DVI-D (HDCP) Output with selectable 480p/720p/1080i output". http://www.usa.denon.com/catalog/products.asp?l=1&c=4
Has anyone tried these players with the upconversion enabled? How'd they look? Thanks!
